Bhadrapada Purnima, also known as Bhado Purnima. It is celebrated on the day of the full moon, which occurs when the moon is at its fullest and brightest. In 2024, Bhadrapada Purnima will observed on September 18. Bhadrapada Purnima marks the end of the Bhadrapada month and the beginning of the Ashwina month. It is also considered the most significant Purnima because it marks the start of the Shraddha Paksha, also known as Pitra Paksha, which lasts until the new moon of Ashwin.
